Finished result using Maler-fasteners. You can, of course, install baseboards also traditionally with nails or screws. General installation instructions of baseboards can be found here.

Maler hidden fastener is targeted for baseboards with hidden fastener groove.
< See picture left.

The fastener folds for both inner and outer corners.

Installation instructions

1. Cut and miter the baseboards of one room to the dimensions you need. Mark the positions of fasteners to the wall about 50 cm apart.
2. If the wall has a curvature, put a mark in the deepest points of the wall for extra fasteners.
3. Cut from the baseboard a 20 mm mounting piece (picture 1).
Insert the mounting piece in the middle of the fastener, allowing you to attach the fastener on both sides.
4. Take into account the baseboard connections and room corners that each connection point has a fastener. (picture 2).
5. Screw the fasteners into the points you marked. Use the Maler screws or for stone walls Maler nail plugs.
6. Press the baseboard firmly to the hidden fastener so that the clips snap into the groove on the back of the molding.

Battens with hidden fastener should be installed in the same way.
